Thomas J. Kuehn, Ph.D. is the President and Chief Executive Officer and cofounded Metabiomics LLC in 2000. Dr. Kuehn brings his extensive experience in the development, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and service of advanced analytical instrumentation, biotechnology, and information technology. Dr. Kuehn was the co-inventor and co-founder of Viking Instruments Corporation pioneering the field of portable analytical instrumentation and serves as its Executive Vice President, President, and CEO from 1982 to 1998. Since 1998 he has been an independent consultant and member of the Board of Directors developing several new start-up companies in instrumentation, biotechnology, and information technology as President of American Innovation Inc. He is currently involved in business development, project management, technology and bioinformatics development, and statistical analysis of LH-PCR and MTPS data for Metabiomics LLC research and collaboration projects. |

Patrick Gillevet, Ph.D. is the Vice President and Chief Scientist and cofounder of Metabiomics LLC in 2000. He brings extensive experience in development of technology and methodology in the field of Genomics. He was the Technical Director for the Center of Prokaryotic Genome Analysis at the University of Illinois. From 1990-1993 he was Director of the Harvard Genome Laboratory at Harvard University. From 1993-1996 he directed the Core Sequencing Facility at the National Center for Human Genome Research under Francis Collins. Dr. Gillevet currently heads the MetaBiome Analysis Center (MBA) at the Prince William campus of George Mason University (Manassas, VA). He began collaborations interrogating the gut microbiome in 2001 and this led to the filling of a PCT and the awarding of a Phase I SBIR to develop Diagnostics for IBD. We will be submitting a Phase II SBIR for further development of the diagnostics. |
