Dr. Kuehn is a visionary entrepreneur and inventor with 30-year career devoted to multidisciplinary science, R&D, and systems engineering management including experience in manufacturing, marketing, sales and service of advanced analytical instrumentation, biotechnology, bioinformatics, and information technology enterprises He co-founded and led several high-tech companies since 1982 including Viking Instruments, Ion Metrics, Biospherex, and Metabiomics. As co-founder of Viking Instruments he co-invented, designed, and manufactured portable GC/MS analytical instrumentation and later co-invented a portable IMS/MS at Ion Metrics. He has served as a Board member and investor in several start-up firms and consultant to Fortune 100 defense and information technology companies in R&D, systems integration, and business development roles.

Gregory J. Kuehn, MBA, President and COO, is a co-founder with an MBA from the University of Colorado with BS from the College of William and Mary in molecular biology and computer science. He was a business consultant (2006-2010) at Flashback Technologies and VetDC in Colorado, with experience in marketing, sales, advertising, financial modeling, business plan and grant proposal writing, project management, knowledge management and web/graphic design. Founder of the CU Biotech Club. NCAA SN and AP Football All-American at W&M.

Dr. Korman completed his medical school education at the State University of New York in Syracuse, graduating Cum Laude and being elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He moved to Washington, DC in 1978 to continue his training in Gastrointestinal Diseases at the National Institutes of Health Digestive Disease branch with an interest in the regulation of gastrointestinal function. Dr. Korman is a leading practitioner and expert in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver and has extensive experience in basic and applied clinical research and the application of information technology to clinical practice. Dr. Korman is an attending physician in Chevy Chase Clinical Research and Capital Digestive Care, one of largest single specialty GI practice groups in the US with over fifty-five gastroenterologists. In addition to his clinical practice, he teaches gastroenterology and endoscopy in the Gastroenterology Training Program at the Veterans Administration Hospital/Georgetown University Fellowship program. Dr. Korman is a principal investigator for both NIH and industry sponsored clinical trials in gastrointestinal diseases.

Dr. Patrick Gillevet, Chairman of the life science advisory board, is a pioneering molecular ecologist, co-founder, and primary inventor of Metabiomics patented MultiTag™ Sequencing and other gateway technology. He brings extensive experience in development of technology and methodology in the fields of genomics and bioinformatics. He was the technical director of the Center of Prokaryotic Genome Analysis at the University of Illinois, the Director of the Harvard University Genome Laboratory from 1990-­1993, and currently heads the Microbiome Analysis Center at George Mason University in Manassas, VA.
